TRANSFORMATION of the former Western Infirmary site into a new campus for Glasgow University is continuing.

The first building to welcome staff at the Western Campus was the £116million research facility, above, at the end of January.

Nearing completion beside it is the Institute of Health and Wellbeing — the Clarice Pears Building — at the junction of Byres Road and University Place.

Also under construction is the Adam Smith Business School and post graduate teaching hub, fronting Dumbarton Road.
