REVISED plans have been drawn up for a slimline block of flats in North Kelvinside.
A six-storey building with seven apartments is now proposed for land formerly occupied by a church hall, beside a playpark on Kelbourne Street.
A previous plan by the same applicant — HJV Consultants — for a seven-storey block with 10 flats was refused by Glasgow city planners last year.
That development would have had a density of 425.5 dwellings per hectare, much higher than allowed for under planning policy,
The decision report issued by officials at the time stated: “No justification has been made to vary so significantly. The proposal is therefore an overdevelopment of the site.”
The new application is pending assessment by planners.
