14 June, 2019 | News

A GLASGOW housing association is making a second attempt to get permission for flats at an East End gap site.

Thenue Housing Association wants to redevelop 44 Dalmarnock Road, Bridgeton where an unsafe tenement — containing six flats and the former Dominion Bar — is currently being demolished.

Their first proposal, for 12 one-bedroom flats in a six-storey block, was rejected by city planners.

A new plan, above, has been submitted seeking permission for 10 one-bedroom flats for elderly tenants.

The application is pending assessment by council officials.
