PERMISSION Sought For Seven-Storey Residential Block In Maryhill

28 October, 2021 | News

AN apartment building is being proposed for North Kelvinside, apparently on a site which already has conditional planning approval for a much a bigger development.

The seven-storey building with 10 units would be on land formerly occupied by a church hall on Kelbourne Street.

The application by HJV Consultants is for eight one-bedroom flats and two two-bedroom duplexes and is pending consideration by Glasgow City Council planners.

The site borders a playpark and appears to part of the same piece of land for which Nevis Properties already have planning permission for 39 flats, above, subject to conditions and legal agreements being concluded.

That proposal stretches all the way to the corner with Queen Margaret Drive.
