NEW Use On The Menu For Another Vacant Glasgow East End Pub

6 April, 2021 | Food and Drink

PLANNERS are being asked to agree that an empty Gallowgate bar can be turned into a hot food takeaway.

A change-of-use application has been submitted to Glasgow City Council for the former Brendans Pub, formerly Kerrys.

Piri King would also have seating, allowing people to eat their ‘takeaway’ on the premises.

Proposed opening hours are 8am to 11pm, seven days a week.

Planners are also currently considering whether the former Bridgeton Bar can become a dance studio.

Last year it was agreed that the Paradise Bar in Tollcross Road could be knocked down and replaced with flats.

Meanwhile, the former Dominion Bar, Bridgeton has been knocked down, with a decision awaited on a flats proposal for the site.
