CITY Centre Chippy Plans Sit-In Expansion

11 March, 2022 | Food and Drink

BLUE Lagoon have applied to turn their takeaway outlet beside Central Station into a restaurant.

The operator is proposing to take over neighbouring premises in Gordon Street, currently a 24-hour convenience store.

The 56-seat restaurant would have the same opening hours as the existing takeaway — 9am to 5am, seven days a week.

Change-of-use and listed building alteration applications are now pending consideration by Glasgow planners.

Blue Lagoon have already expanded their restaurant under Central Station on Argyle Street, and also took over the former Pizza Express premises on Queen Street.
