THE demise of the remaining Pizza Express outlets in Glasgow has proved an opportunity for two restaurant operators.
The city centre location in Queen Street is due to open in the summer as the latest Blue Lagoon fish and chip eatery.
And the former Pizza Express in Byres Road is already trading as a Mozza pizzeria.
Pizza Express has also closed its restaurant at Princes Square.
The Sauchiehall Street one ceased trading some time ago and is subject of a planning application from an operator called Pizza Max.
Braehead’s Pizza Express survives as Glasgow’s nearest.
