A GLASGOW housing association has been given permission for flats at an East End site.
City officials have approved Thenue Housing Association’s plans for 44 Dalmarnock Road, Bridgeton.
The site previously had a tenement — containing six flats and the Dominion Bar — which was demolished because it was unsafe.
Planners have agreed that a five-storey building with 10 one-bedroom flats for elderly tenants can be built.
A previous proposal, for 12 one-bedroom flats in a six-storey block, was rejected by city planners.
