AN empty shop in Glasgow City Centre can become two restaurants, planners have agreed.

City council officials have approved a planning application by Lujo Properties in relation to 251 to 257 Sauchiehall Street, formerly occupied by furniture retailer BoConcept.

Approval has been given for the ground floor of the premises to be subdivided into two food and drink units with hot food takeaway.

No details are given in planning documents regarding possible operators.
