UNIVERSITY Unveils Hi-Tech Govan Campus Plan

THE University of Glasgow has revealed plans for a high-tech campus in Govan.

It would be built on disused car park at Linthouse Road, near the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

The complex would focus on nanotechnology and precision medicine.

The university will invest £28million in the development with a further £27.5million from the Glasgow City Region Deal. The university hopes to attract another £63million in funding.

It is hoped work can begin within two years.
