PLANNERS are being asked to allow development of a truck stop facility capable of handling dozens of lorries.
An application for planning permission has been made for a site at 2310 London Road.
A restaurant plus shower and toilet facilities are included in the proposal.
There would be space for around 85 trucks.
The application is pending consideration by city officials.
