THAI Restaurant Apply To Use Empty West End Pub

24 August, 2021 | Food and Drink

A CHANGE-of-use application has been submitted seeking to turn a Glasgow West End bar into a restaurant.

Ting Thai — who already have venues in West Nile Street, Glasgow, and Edinburgh — are behind the proposal for 94 Byres Road.

The restaurant would have capacity for around 60 people.

Use of the public footpath for a seating area is also proposed.

The premises were formerly The Hill pub and, Van Winkle bourbon bar, which is now at Sandyford Place.

The application is pending assessment by Glasgow City planners.
