STUDENT Accommodation Plan For Yorkhill Site Is Refused

16 May, 2018 | News, Student Accommodation

GLASGOW City planners have refused permission for a new student accommodation building in Yorkhill.

The 45-apartment, six-storey facility was proposed for a site at the junction of Sandyford Street and Kelvinhaugh Street.

Council officials decided the development would breach planning policies.

They also said there would be loss of privacy issues and that the proposal would not provide high quality amenity to existing or new residents.

A previous application in 2016 was also refused.
