PROPOSAL For More New Homes In Dalmarnock

A DEVELOPMENT of 64 houses is being proposed for vacant land at a prominent site in Dalmarnock.

Thenue Housing Association has plans to build low-rise properties on land bound by Dalmarnock Road, Springfield Road, Baltic Street and Clyde Gateway.

The site is across the road from Dalmarnock Station.

A public drop-in event about the proposal is to take place at the Legacy Hub, 301 Springfield Road, between 3 and 7pm on Thursday 29 November as part of the pre-application consultation process.

A planning application for nearly 240 apartments on derelict land opposite the site is currently being considered by Glasgow planners and work is underway on more than 55o homes further along Dalmarnock Road beside the Clyde.
