Demolition for the major mixed use Love Loan development in George Street has opened up a view from John Street of this cupola, part of the old Parish Council Collector’s Hall, which is to kept, for leisure/retail. Love Loan will also feature a 24-bed AC by Marriott hotel, apartments and high-rise student accommodation.
The first glazing has appeared on the front of the new Glasgow Queen Street Station concourse building.
Queen’s Cross Mackintosh Church in Maryhill Road, the only one designed by architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh, which opened 120 years ago this year.
