PLANNERS are being asked to agree that an empty pub in Scotstoun can be used as a religious education establishment and community hall.
Islamic Centre Scotstoun have made a change-of-use application for the old Rendezvous premises in Burnham Road, near Dumbarton Road.
In a letter to Glasgow City officials they state: “We are a small charity and are keen to provide a facility to Muslim residents who have arrived and are settling in the area.”
The proposal is pending assessment by the planning department.
