OFFICE-To-Flats Conversion At Anniesland Stalls Over Parking Spaces

25 May, 2021 | Residential

COUNCILLORS have refused a bid by Partick Housing Association to turn vacant offices into flats.

The association wanted to convert the upper floors of a four-storey building on Great Western Road at Anniesland Cross.

Seventeen affordable flats were to be provided for social rent, 11 with one bedroom and six with two bedrooms.

Glasgow City councillors decided against the application, with a major factor in the verdict being provision of only four car parking spaces.

The offices have been empty for a number of years.
