REVISED plans have been submitted for a drive-thru food and drink development after a different restaurant operator was signed up.

Planning permission is already in place for two outlets on land between Glasgow Harbour flats and the Clydeside Expressway.

Under the new application, there will still be a drive-thru Starbucks cafe on the site, which is east of Sawmill Road on Castlebank Street.

But the drive-thru restaurant proposal is now for a single-storey Burger King instead of a two-storey Kentucky Fried Chicken.

The original application was eventually approved in October last year two years after it was made.
