REVISED proposals have been submitted for flats at the site of a former care home in Glasgow.

Wheatley Group has applied to develop the land at Forfar Avenue, Cardonald, beside a bowling club.

There would be 29 one and two-bedroom flats for social rent plus one unit kept as an amenity space for residents.

A previous application for 30 flats, lodged at the end of 2021, has been withdrawn following planning department feedback which led to a significant redesign and the need for a new submission.

In particular, the revised plan removes all exclusively north-facing single aspect flats and generally reduces the number of single aspect flats to five.

The application is pending assessment by planners.
