NEW Application Brought Forward For Pollok Residential Development

23 December, 2019 | News, Residential

A REVISED plan has been drawn up for flats and houses on a former school site beside White Cart Water, across from Pollok Country Park.

Glasgow Housing Association are now proposing 26 properties on Damshot Crescent, at Libo Avenue, Pollok.

There would be two blocks, each of two floors, containing 18 flats fronting the road with a shared amenity and parking court behind, looked on to by eight two and three-storey houses.

An application for 29 flats submitted in November 2018 has been withdrawn as it was “unviable due to financial limitations”, with the housing mix reviewed to “better meet the budget”.

The site was formerly occupied by St Edmund’s Primary School which was demolished in 2010.

The application is pending assessment by Glasgow City planners.
