DETAILED plans have been submitted for the initial phase of waterfront regeneration at Govan.
Five blocks containing a total of 92 flats and six commercial units are proposed for Water Row by Govan Housing Association.
Much of the site is currently used as a car park.

There will also be some public “streetscaping” and a residential courtyard area with a colonnade.
The commercial units will be at ground floor level and will be aimed at community-focused ventures.
The flats will all have two bedrooms and will be for mid-market affordable rent.

A masterplan for the Water Row area was approved last year and ties in with the Govan/Partick pedestrian/cycle bridge.
The phase one application is pending assessment by Glasgow City planners.
