A MAJOR retailer looks set to return to Glasgow’s Argyle Street.
Next has lined up ground floor accommodation in the former Lewis’s and Debenhams department store building.
The company has lodged applications seeking permission for signage and shopfront alterations.
Next had a store elsewhere on Argyle Street that closed in early 2022.
Permission was given last year for the upper floors of the historic Lewis’s building to be turned into offices, with a rooftop restaurant.
