CITY planners have agreed that the former Glasgow Council printing works can be turned into a huge family play complex.
Spectrum Properties (Scotland) Ltd have been given permission to change the use of the large B-listed building at 197 Pollokshaws Road and make internal and external alterations.
The proposal include a wide range of play facilities including
— Activity foam pits set within an obstacle course frame.
— Slides
— Zip wire and high level wires
— Parkour activity area.
— Climbing stairway and climbing towers
— Freestyle trampoline zone.
— Laser tag zone
— Virtual reality video games.
— Themed family golf course.
— Baby and toddler play zone.
Other spaces would be turned into party rooms, cafeteria, kitchen, waiting area, reception, toilets, staff facilities and management offices.
A 55-space car park will be provided at the rear of the building.
