PERMISSION is being sought for housing on vacant land beside the Clyde at Yoker.

An application by JR Construction Scotland Ltd has been made to Glasgow City Council seeking consent for the principle of residential development at Bulldale Street, off Yoker Ferry Road.

No further information is given in planning documents; detailed plans would need to be brought forward for consideration if the application is approved.

The large, former industrial site was subject of pre-application consultation last year which is a requirement for ‘major’ developments, which in the case of residential applications means 50 units or more.
