ONE of Scotland’s leading construction and manufacturing companies has returned to the private housing sector with a contemporary housing development of 156 houses and flats on Glasgow’s south side.
CCG (Scotland) Ltd will offer a range of properties as part of the Riverford Gardens beside White Cart Water on former industrial land at Riverford Road, Pollokshaws.
Delivered by CCG Homes, it will consist of 52 three and four-bedroom houses and 104 one and two-bedroom flats. CCG Homes aim to have the first properties ready before the end of 2018.
The Leader of Glasgow City Council officially launched what is one of Glasgow’s largest private housing developments.
Councillor Susan Aitken, who is also City Convener for Inclusive Economic Growth, said: “I’m pleased to launch this Riverford Gardens site and hear more about the role this development will play in the continued regeneration of Pollokshaws.
“When this development is completed, it will add to the range of houses and flats which are being built across the city. Future homeowners in this site can be sure of high quality homes in a part of the city with excellent amenities, transport links and access to green space.”
