JD Wetherspoon have applied to extend one of their Glasgow City Centre pubs.
The company want to expand the Sir John Moore premises on Argyle Street near Central Station.
The extra space would be created in neighouring vacant betting and payday loan office units.
Drawinings submitted to city planners show there would be an increase in capacity of around 220 seats.
The customer area would go from about 3,750 sq ft to 6250 sq ft.
The application is pending assessment by council officials.
