THE moving span of the new Govan-Partick Bridge active travel Clyde crossing has been lifted into place.
The £29.5million pedestrian/cycle swing bridge is being built between Water Row in Govan and Pointhouse Quay in Partick.
The moving span, which weighs 650 tonnes, is 99 metres long.
The bridge is due to open next year.
