AFTER a month of use for the TRNSMT music festival and weeks of sunny weather, Glasgow Green wasn’t really living up to its name — but work started straightaway on making it green again

The park was re-opened to the public late on Sunday afternoon after weeks of being fenced off for the event.

Council staff are already laying new turf on affected areas —  Glasgow Green is due to host GO LIVE! a daily programme of free-to-attend sport, culture and entertainment activities from 2 to 12 August as part of the Glasgow 2018 European Championships.
