ICONIC Glasgow Department Store Planning Food And Drink Area

11 March, 2020 | News, Food and Drink

GLASGOW department store Frasers wants to use around 1,700 square metres of its fourth floor for food and drink areas.

The space would be accessed via the shop during retail opening hours but would also be open outwith the store trading times.

Frasers have applied for listed building consent to install a new lift to allow separate access to the fourth floor when the rest of the store is closed.

Existing doors on to Buchanan Street and a stairwell would be brought back into use as well.

Details of the proposed food and drink space are not given in documents relating to the lift plan which have been submitted to the city council.
