PLANNERS have rejected a bid to turn an empty West End retail unit into a food and drink outlet.
A cafe/sandwich shop was proposed for former dry-cleaning premises at 135 Hyndland Road.
A drawing including with the planning application showed an indicative seating layout for around 50 people.
Glasgow City Council officials refused the application saying that cooking fumes from the premises would have “an adverse effect on residential amenity”.
