3 June, 2019 | News

SEVENTY-seven flats and houses have been approved for a vacant site in Calton.

Glasgow City Council planners have given the go-ahead for the development by Thenue Housing Association at Drake Street, on land between Tobago Street and Abercromby Street.

It will consist of 11 houses and 66 flats for social rent.

There will be two blocks of flats — one with six/seven floors, facing Abercromby Street, and a smaller four-storey block behind. The houses will be on the Tobago Street side.

Twenty-five car parking spaces will be provided.
