CITY planners have agreed that residential development can take place at a four-acre brownfield site near Hogganfield Loch, Glasgow.
Forty-nine houses and flats are proposed for the former B&Q store site on Cumbernauld Road in the north east of the city.
An application for planning permission in principle made to Glasgow City Council by Inverworth Ltd has been approved by officials.
Detailed designs will still need to be brought forward for consent
Documents submitted to the council stated the developer intends to build 18 detached houses, 18 cottage flats, 10 semi-detached houses and three terraced houses.
