HISTORIC Old Glasgow Printing Works Could Turn Over New Leaf As Massive Play Centre

THE former Glasgow Council printing works could be turned into a huge family play complex under plans submitted to city planners.

Spectrum Properties (Scotland) Ltd want approval to change the use of the large B-listed building at 197 Pollokshaws Road and make internal and external alterations.

The proposal include a wide range of play facilities including

— Activity foam pits set within an obstacle course frame.
— Slides
— Zip wire and high level wires
— Parkour activity area.
— Climbing stairway and climbing towers
— Freestyle trampoline zone.
— Laser tag zone
— Virtual reality video games.
— Themed family golf course.
— Baby and toddler play zone.

Other spaces would be turned into party rooms, cafeteria, kitchen, waiting area, reception, toilets, staff facilities and management offices.

The applications are pending consideration by council officials.
