A DEVELOPMENT of 128 flats has been approved for the site of a former Scottish Power depot in Yoker.
Glasgow City Council planners have granted permission for the proposal which involves land at Hawick Street at Dumbarton Road and was submitted by CCG (Scotland) Ltd, working with a social landlord partner.
The mixed tenure development will feature four blocks. There will be 128 parking spaces.
A design document included with the application stated: “When considered as a whole, the development offers not only high-quality spaces for the residents but also contributes to the existing streetscape of Dumbarton Road.”
