SOUTHSIDE Housing Association has been given planning approval for a 120-flat development in Pollokshields.
The properties will form phases two and three of the masterplan for the St Andrew’s Drive, Shields Road, Maxwell Drive and St John’s Road area.
They replace five and six-storey 1960s blocks of flats which have already been demolished.
A mix of one, two and three-bed apartments, two-bed wheelchair accessible apartments and three and four-bed main-door maisonettes are proposed across 14 buildings which vary in height from one to four floors.
