GLASGOW City planners have approved a new extension and alterations to the annexe building at Scotstoun Primary School.
The development at the Duncan Avenue site will provide three classrooms, a multi-purpose hall, kitchen, break-out space, changing facilities, toilets, office and plant room.
The extension will replace gym hall accommodation lost because of a fire in late 2017 as well as providing additional teaching spaces.
A report by the planning department states: “The proposed extension would be innovative in its design, being both functional and appropriate in its relationship with the existing school building and grounds.
“It would be a harmonious addition to the existing school site and would preserve the special character and appearance of the [Scotstoun] Conservation Area.”
