GLASGOW Built Environment Hustings Taking Place

NEW Glasgow Society and Glasgow Institute of Architects have organised an evening of hustings for Glasgow’s built environment.

The event will feature General Election candidates sharing their ideas and visions about the city’s architectural heritage and future developments.

Representatives of main political parties will join us as panellists fielding questions from the general public, and discussing their plans for the city,architecture, heritage and places.

The hustings takes place on Wednesday 26 June, 6.30pm till late at Trades Hall of Glasgow, 85 Glassford Street, G1 1UH.

Panellists confirmed so far:

Patricia Fleming (Scottish Labour Party, Glasgow West)

Daniel O’Malley (Scottish Liberal Democrats, Glasgow North)

David Stark (Reform UK, Rutherglen)

Scottish Conservatives Party, Scottish National Party and Scottish Greens will announce their panellists in due course.

The Glasgow’s Built Environment Hustings was first held in 2017.
