FLATS Bid Instead Of Student Rooms Now Lodged For Yorkhill Playground

29 March, 2019 | News, Residential, Student Accommodation

THIRTY flats are being proposed for a Yorkhill site previously lined up for a 100-unit student accommodation block.

A new planning application has been submitted for the corner of Teviot Street and Gilbert Street in Glasgow which was a playground at the former Kelvinhaugh Primary School.

The development by Surplus Property Solutions would have 18 two-bedroom flats and 12 with three bedrooms.

A roof level amenity terrace is proposed.

There would be 20 car parking spaces and 38 cycle storage places.

The application is pending assessment by City Council planners.

The student accommodation proposal was granted permission last year.
