FLATS And Holiday Rooms Plan For Former Glasgow Hospice Premises

31 July, 2019 | News, Residential, Listed / Historic Buildings

NEW plans have been drawn up to turn the former Prince And Princess Of Wales Hospice in Glasgow into flats and build a block of holiday letting rooms.

The development at 73 Carlton Place proposes 28 car-free apartments in the B-listed building.

The 82-room holiday accommodation, fronting South Portland Street and Carlton Court, would include a gym and parking.

The application by Strathedin Properties is pending assessment by Glasgow City Council planners.

Last year Strathedin was given permission for a holiday letting accommodation development involving converting the former hospice premises and constructing a new four-storey building.
