DEVELOPMENT Work At Dalmarnock To Include Park Beside River

A £2.4MILLION contract has been awarded for delivery of landscaping and drainage work at Dalmarnock, including a riverside park.

Clyde Gateway regneration project is progressing development at a large site bounded by the River Clyde, Solway Street, Colvend Street, and Reid Street.

Glasgow firm RJ McLeod (Contractors) Ltd has been appointed to carry out the work.

The project involves the delivery of green infrastructure and sustainable drainage connecting plots with the Clyde, supporting the delivery of commercial office space and residential units, creating a terraced riverside park, completing key drainage, roads, and services connections.

A 75,000-square-metre mixed-use development is proposed for the land, including three commercial development plots and 300 residential units.
