A PROPOSAL for a build-to-rent development of nearly 70 flats just north of Glasgow city centre has been withdrawn.
The 68-apartment project was to have been at 124 Craighall Road, near Speirs Wharf.

Existing buildings were to be demolished to make way for the block containing one, two and three-bedroom flats.
However the application, lodged by Weiss Development Co Ltd in February, has been withdrawn before a decision was reached by Glasgow City Council planners.
No explanation for the change of heart is given in planning documents. It is not clear if a revised plan will be submitted.
