CITY Centre Chippy’s Sit-In Expansion Agreed

24 May, 2022 | News, Food and Drink

BLUE Lagoon have been given permission to turn their takeaway outlet beside Central Station into a restaurant.

City planners have approved the company’s application to take over neighbouring premises in Gordon Street, currently a 24-hour convenience store.

The 56-seat restaurant will have the same opening hours as the existing takeaway — 9am to 5am, seven days a week.

Blue Lagoon have already expanded their restaurant under Central Station on Argyle Street, and also took over the former Pizza Express premises on Queen Street.
