CITY Centre Apartments Conversion And Roof Extension Plan Rejected

18 November, 2020 | Residential

A PLAN to turn empty floors above a KFC restaurant in central Glasgow into flats has been refused.

A roof extension was also part of the plan for 106 Renfield Street.

Nine two-bedroom flats were to be created in the vacant second and third floors and the new roof accommodation.

City councillors refused permission.

Planning officials felt the roof extension would dominate the building and would not tie in with the architectural character of the premises or the surrounding area.
