BAKERY Firm Lodge Plans For Glasgow City Centre Shop And Cafe

BAKERY chain Greggs want permission for a new shop and cafe in Glasgow city centre.

The company has applied to use premises at the corner of Argyle Street and Virginia Street, formerly occupied by Gobstopper Candy.

The outlet would have seating for 20 and would be open 7am to 7pm, Monday to Saturdays, and 9am to 6pm on Sundays and bank holidays.

Applications for changing the use of the premises, installing signage and making alterations to a listed building are pending consideration by city council planning offiicials.
