CITY planners are being asked to approve a flats development proposed for Yorkhill.
Surplus Property Investments want to build a block containing 20 two-bedroom properties at the corner of Gilbert Street and Teviot Street.
The building would have five storeys with a rooftop amenity space and a lower ground floor car parking area with 13 spaces. There would be storage space for 34 bikes.
A design statement submitted with the application explains: “The development proposal will create a new coherent urban block which complements the existing urban grain of the area.”
Thirty-four flats are already under construction next to the site.
The application is pending assessment by Glasgow City Council.
