APARTMENTS Plan Approved For Glasgow’s White House

27 March, 2019 | News

PERMISSION has been given for two historic Glasgow West End townhouses to be turned into eight apartments.

City planners approved the subdivision of the properties at B-listed The White House, 12 and 13 Cleveden Crescent in Kelvinside.

There will be three flats within each main building plus one dwelling within each rear mews cottage.

Despite being marketed, the townhouses have been lying empty for some time.

A statement submitted on behalf of applicant Dhillon Properties explained: “The primary concern in the development is to retain as many of the original features as possible while bringing the properties back into use as dwellings.

“No alterations are proposed to the facades and as many of the original walls are being retained as is practical.”
