VACANT retail space above a Sauchiehall Street pub is being lined up for use as an apart-hotel.
A listed building application has been made for the former Greaves Sports premises above Lauder’s Bar, at the corner with Renfield Street.
The proposal includes creating an additional floor at roof level of the B-listed building.
There would be a total of 26 apartments over four floors.
The entrance would be created out of the former shopfront and there would be a ground floor reception area.
The application is pending consideration by city planners.
