A GLASGOW motorway underpass looks set to get a major cycling and pedestrian upgrade.
The project involves enhancing the route under the M8 at Dobbie’s Loan, leading to Craighall Road.
City council officials state the junction will be re-aligned, crossing points will be improved and segregated cycle ways and footways will be introduced.
A report explains: “The project also includes artistic intervention to improve the environment by introducing a bespoke lighting installation.
“By summer 2021, the project was nearing Stage 4 technical design completion, with the construction budget to be confirmed.”
