GLASGOW city centre church Adelaide Place Baptist plans to expand its nursery and meeting space facilities after closing its guesthouse.
The congregation has been given permission to change the use of guest house accommodation at its building in Bath Street at Pitt Street.
Glasgow City Council planners agreed that extra space in the ground floor and basement could be used for the church’s nursery.
Upper floors will be returned to use as meeting rooms for the church.
A separate planning application for installation of replacement windows and internal alterations is still being considered by the planning department.
